The Hope of the Gospel
Our Beliefs
We worship one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Incorporated into Jesus' death and resurrection through Baptism, Christians have the hope of eternal life. Through the Bible, the Spirit of God awakens and strengthens faith, giving wisdom to walk in the Lord's ways. Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead, resurrecting all those who believe in him.

Why Are We Here?
We are here to bring the light of Christ to all who still walk in darkness. Jesus Christ is dawning upon De Soto, KS through the preaching of His Word. All who are in Christ’s light have hope and shine his love to others.
We gather around Jesus to have a true home and a true hope. We receive his healing and are strengthened to live with full meaning and joy.

Holy Week Services

Come and see the reason for our eternal hope!
Maundy Thursday (04/17): 6:30 p.m.
We celebrate the special meal Jesus has instituted to explain the reason for His death - our life and salvation through His Body and Blood given and shed on the cross.
Good Friday (04/18): 6:30 p.m.
We solemnly hear the account of Jesus' death for our sake. We have an opportunity to mourn for the reason Jesus ascended the cross (our sins). But we also take comfort that Jesus has defeated death once and for all.
Easter Sunday (04/20): 9:00 a.m. (with breakfast to follow)
The glorious dawn of Easter Sunday opens up our tongues to rejoice and be glad for Jesus' resurrection! We sing our hearts out to praise our King who has opened the way to heaven for us.
